Promould has been in business of profile wrapping for more than 20 years, supplying builder merchants, contractors and door manufacturers throughout the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. The company is offering a complete product range of real wood veneer, specialised paper, PVC and painted profiles.
Profile wrapping is a highly energy consuming process, during which a decorative surface is laminated onto a substrate using specialised profile-wrapping machinery.
As part of its commitment to reduce energy costs and CO2 emissions, and to improve green credentials, Promould has turned to renewable electricity generation, choosing Kingspan Energy’s rooftop PV system as their preferred solution.
The 50kWp solar PV array covers an area of 327m2 and consists of 200 photovoltaic modules. It is expected to generate over 36MWhrs of electricity per annum, offsetting over 19 tonnes of CO2.
