A new €35 million international logistics centre has been constructed in Dublin for Spanish pharmaceuticals giant Grifols Worldwide Operators Ltd.
The impressive 22,500m2 site, which is expected to process ten million vials of medication this year, features a three storey administration block and also freezer and coldroom facilities for the screening, stabilisation, packaging and storage of blood plasma products.
3800m2 of our UltraTemp high-performance insulated wall panels along with 230m2 of Optimo insulated wall panels and 7000m2 of our Topdek roof deck, were installed to ensure the highest levels of thermal performance for the external envelope. The building also features over 8000m2 of our Louvre profiled insulated wall panels, specified from the Longspan range to achieve frame-to-frame spanning without the need for secondary steel, finished off with co-ordinating top hats, flashings and preformed corners.
