Our LEC Structural Steel range has been developed to help reduce the carbon footprint of construction projects. Using comparative Lifecycle Assessment Data to the EN 15804-A2:2019 standard, this range demonstrates a 66%* reduction in embodied carbon in modules A1-A3 (product stage) and 63% reduction in embodied carbon across LCA modules A-C, when compared to the existing product.
The products within our LEC Structural Steel range all achieve a 75% increase in recycled content.

Products within Kingspan's Lower Embodied Carbon (LEC) ranges are lower in embodied carbon when compared to the existing comparable Kingspan product.
